Another point about Cancer is that there are some proven triggers, such as smoking to lung cancer; over exposure to sun to sun cancer.

I think one day there will be a cure found for some types of cancer. Smoking is a large contributor to many types of cancer. If everyone who smoked quit, that would eliminate many cancers.
