How many times has universal healthcare been considered and knocked down? I don't think it will happen because of how much debt we are in.

I don't think it will going to implement in near future as there can be a lot of complications can arise by imposing it. Government has to change all its policies and guidelines about healthcare which I don't think an easy task in the current scenario.
